Marie Chung, CCIM, is the Director of Modern Estates.  She is a leader in the real estate industry, with clients spanning from Hollywood celebrities and movie producers to corporate professionals who secure her services for their primary residences, vacation properties and investment properties.  Marie is known in the industry for constantly inventing ways to garner exposure for her luxury properties, for which she has secured attention on Today in LA on NBC, among other efforts.  She aggregates a vast network of elite clientele for Modern Estates – celebrities including award-winning actors, producers, musicians, film and TV executives, as well as VIP C-suite executives – through her best-of-class, white-glove service approach.

Marie aggregates a significant network of brokers and agents, both nationally and internationally, by generously sharing her insights at local and national conferences, such as the California Association of Realtors (CAR) Expo 2011 “Top Producers Panel,” Five Star Conferences, and Inman News Real Estate Connect. Among her many positions with the Urban Land Institute, USC Lusk Center for Real Estate, and a graduate of the prestigious USC Ross Program in Real Estate Development, Marie is also the 2011 Secretary of the CCIM Los Angeles Chapter.  Her Luxury Marketing Specialist strategies have been featured on national & local media outlets including NBC – Today in LA. Top Producers Marie Chung, Bob Wolff and John McMonigle addressed a standing-room-only audience of brokers at the California Association of Realtors (CAR) Expo 2010 in Anaheim, CA.  Some key points they mentioned:

McMonigle and Wolff farm within a 3-mile radius of their respective Newport Beach and Dana Point offices, while Chung’s team of 58 agents covers 5 counties including Los Angeles and Orange.

McMonigle uses electronic/new media and traditional print/ad marketing tactics, as well as properties such as M Magazine.  His company has also invested in a CRM from Salesforce.

Chung also uses electronic/new media and traditional print/ad marketing tactics, and is launching a new website with CRM integration with a Salesforce-based, real-estate-specific system.  As a broker-owner, she focuses on securing many agents to hold open houses for maximum exposure through multiple networks.  She also speaks at many industry conferences in order to maintain the crucial relationships with bank clients for future business, which she feeds to her agents.
